The United States Fight League takes mixed martial arts to a new level… one that has generated international attention. Traveling 6,000 miles from Moscow to Ledyard, Russia will converge on the United States in “WAR IN THE WOODS V”, the battle of cage fighters, at Foxwoods Resort Casino this Saturday, November 29, 2008 in The Fox Theater.

Led by national hero OLEG TAKTAROV, four fighters are finalists in the widely popular Russian Mixed Martial Arts reality show, BACK-ON-TRACK.They will be fighting for their Country, their pride, and braggingrights in this international event hosted by the U.S. Fight League.

Margarita Kolmykova, Shamkhol Kerimov, Dimitry Yanish and Alecksei Vokulenko are the Russian combatants, bringing Russian style mixed martial arts to the USA.

The public has the opportunity to meet all the fighters at the U.S. Fight League weigh-ins and press conference on Friday, November 28th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at The Fox Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino. Oleg Taktarov,former UFC Champion and Movie Star, will be on hand to greet everyoneand pose for pictures. This promises to be a fantastic pre-fight event.
