4 Shows in five weeks can be a bit of a challenge for MMA fans dedicate the time and money required attending all of the events and around 7:00 last night Club Lido was showing signs of stretched wallets with a thin crowd. Luckily the seats filled in and there was a strong crowd by the National Anthem.

This show was a bit different than run of the mill Massachusetts MMA shows with two major differences:

1 Promoter Bruce Marshall elected to use a six sided cage as opposed to a ring

2 The MASS MMA coverage was arguably better than the coverage of any other MMA event ever.

The Cage:

The first time the cage made it to New England was two weeks ago in New Hampshire -at Combat Zone�s Manchester event. The cage is safer than a ring as people don�t fall out or get tangled in the ropes. Last night had few stoppages (only a few for the referees to stand fighters up to pick up quicker action) and no injuries due to the surroundings.

The Coverage:

By the end of each fight, MASS MMA had posted play by play, results and pictures from the fight that had ended less than 60 seconds ago. In all we posted 296 pictures of the event and the crowd was still at the venue.

Below are all of the sections we successfully posted during the event and are examples of MASS MMA raising the bar for MMA fans. Next time we will be using a better camera to improve photo quality, but be assured, we did take professional pictures which will be on the site in a few days. It just takes a bit longer to upload high quality photos and we knew fans would want to look at some pics during the event or the next morning.
