Just got this from Pete Dilorenzo for his AFO show Friday Night!
“13” on the 13th
AFO will stage its thirteenth MMA show done in Mass on Friday, August 13th at the Holiday Inn Grand Ball Room, Mansfield, headlined by two undefeated 170-pounders squaring off in a very interesting main event.
Tyson Chartier, representing Sityodtong, will risk his 6-0 record, 3 wins for the AFO, against 3-0 Nathan Andrews of Team Rockstar. Chartier, planning to turn pro in his next fight, wants to fight the best available, and Andrews has shown himself to be an outstanding prospect, last defeating Sityodtong’s Jay Reinhold in June. A contrast of styles here will surly make for a great fight. Chartier an excellent wrestler with amazing ground and pound will have that matched with the highly explosive Andrews who has a great reach and very well skilled in BJJ.
Several other gyms from throughout New England will be represented Friday, with many fighters making their debuts inside the AFO cage, including four fights sponsored by Allaire Fitness of Woonsocket, RI.
Allair’s highly talked about top prospect, Patrick Euglow, who has been a power lifter for 5 years competing nationally and had played semi pro football has now stepped over to MMA and will face Alexis Medina of Advanced Fighting Systems. Nick Ryder will attempt to bring home his first victory after being in several memorable fights in the AFO against Luke Raphael’s Billy Keenan. Brothers Tal and Thane Stimson of Peter Rogers’ ASAP MMA out of CT will face Ricardo Georges of Team Pradal-Serey, this will be Ricardo’s 3rd fight with the AFO and all 3 were in contentions for fight of the night. Rogers’ other fighter and brother of Tal will face off against Dennis Paiva who his trained by highly decorated Black Belt Keith Allen.
Tom Evans will step in against Redline’s Argenis Cordones Soto which was a match we 1st tried to get in June; this one could easily end up being fight of the night.
Waikru will be represented by Robert Flint against Carver’s Marc Spenser while hockey standout Andrew Davis will face USA Karate’s Cido Hoff, who had a great showing on our sold out February “Last Man Standing” show.
Jose Rusterian, another fighter who had a great showing at the sold out June show will return against BJJ sensation Brian Morales out of The Pound.
Dexter MMA will be represented by power-punching Joe Powers facing undefeated Jeff Bermani of Sityodtong, Jake Johnson vs Whaling City’s Jonathan Cox, Navy veteran Morgan Gutgsell vs USA Karate’s Tom Ventiquence, and Dave Fernandez faces Thiago Martin in what will be the first fight for both.
This show will be filmed by NE Sports TV and commentary done by Peter Czymbor. AFO will also be making some big announcements in regards to their Oct 8th, “Halloween Havoc” main event which will feature the return of one of New England’s top pound for pound fighters.
Sponsors for this great event will be Everlast, GNC, Performances Nutrition, Warhawk Fight Gear, Prime Athletics, and Knockouts Salon for men that will be offering free massages for the fans and fighters.
Fights will start at 8, doors open at 6:30, ticket prices start at $40.00, For tickets orders and other info, visit www.afomma.com or call 401*286.* 3413

Hey and thanks for getting it up so quickly, and I was joking about the happy ending thing… Don’t want anyone getting upset

My back is a little sore…

All Fighters made weight, we had one replacement at HW – Pat Euglow will now face 1-0 Bill Nickerson of RICC. Bill had his first fight with us in June where he won by TKO, this 6ft 5 225 lb is tall task for Pat but with his back ground it should make for a great fight.
This is great card will a lot of great talent. Ricardo Georges, Joe Powers, Dan Bartelinni, Nate Andrews and Tyson are all guys to watch closely tomorrow night. Doors will open at 6 30 – Allaire Fitness will have 2 ring girls there, we’ll have 2 calendar girls there and Knockouts will have 4 round card girls there so there will be no shortage at all, NE SportsTV will be filming and Mark Daniels will be doing commentary. Again thanks to our vendors, Everlast, Prime, Warhawk, GNC and Performance Nutrition and WitWin! Hope to see you all out tomorrow – Tickets will be available at the door and still online at http://www.afomma.com
