Global Exposure!
The Global Fight League has a few Major announcements!
Two and a half years in the making, Global Fight League has touched on something that has recreated MMA in the region. New England has been a mecca for Great fighters for years. What New England has been missing is a Promotion that appeals to all the fighters, and fans alike. Something unique that defines all the fighters. GFL takes you beyond just watching an MMA fight, They maximize the interest of the fans through high level production. GFL gives you the experience of a “show” that educates you on the fights prior to you watching and makes even an uneducated fan understand the importance or the excitement of what their watching.
The GFL has advanced its production level from your basic youtube hype video to more of an in your face in depth look at a fighters Life, his story, his trials and tribulations. GFL gets personal with two of their longtime fighters, as they bring you into their world and into the action. On August 26th GFL is proud to announce their New series on NESN title GFL “The Life”. The first of many, GFL air’s their first show at 6:30pm and again later that night at 10pm.
Enjoy GFL’s “The Life” as they take you inside the life of GFL Champion Matt Smith and Challenger Pedro Gonzalez as they prepare to meet at GFL 9 September 17th for what most are saying in their first battle was “Fight of the Year”.
With such a big undertaking as producing a new television show, promoting upcoming fights, fighters, and tackling a few new idea’s The GFL has also inked a deal with one of the most beautiful and largest venue’s in all of New Hampshire. GFL has happily found a home at the newly renovated (2010) Whittemore Center on UNH Campus. The 7000 seat venue is a spectacular site that for some will be a dream to fight in. September nearing, GFL offers students of UNH a reduced rate ($10 with student I.D.) to enjoy what hopefully will be history in their famed “home of the Wildcats”.

I AM LOOKING FOWARD TO WATCHING THIS ON NESN AND LOOKING FOWARD TO BEING A PART OF THIS AWESOME VENUE!! I HOPE THE BEST OF LUCK TO ALL COMBATANTS AND I CAN NOT WAIT UNTIL FIGHT NIGHT!
Awesome Card
4 Title fights!!! This is an awesome card, great job as usual Dan!! The GFL is a great promotion, and I wish you continued success!! Wish I lived closer, but I just might HAVE TO make the drive up from western Mass for this one!!
Awesoome card. good luck to the Renzo guys. Excited to see John take home a title! p.s. his record is 9-2!
Looks like a great card. Whats up with Olson and Moreau at 185?
Theres seems to be a new wave of competition in New England MMA. It would appear the boys from up north have decided to set new standards of MMA promotion. Which in my opinion,( and I know you all hate to hear that phrase) is great for not only the sport, but the fighters as well. This card, much like the last one and the recent Triumph card sets another standard in fan desire and acceptance. This is what the fans want to see as a whole. Now, mixed with GFL’s promotional capabilities, Im expecting to be in for a real treat. The venue will be able to accomodate a huge crowd, and I imagine that 3-4000 college kids who want to drink beer and watch fights will not be a hard sell on tickets. Great game plan and execution on GFL part to hopefully deliver one of the best shows possible. We had hoped to have a few of our guys on this card, but due to injury and surgeries we were forced to miss it, but I can guarantee we will be there in attendance for this one! Best of luck to Dan and the rest of GFL…stepping it up, and creating a spectacle for all of us to enjoy!!
Reading your post insider made me think, can you drink beer on campus? Will there be a bar at this show? The card is great,, and I agree the last two shows up in NH have really be well done
I will edit the misprints asap. I’m not near a computer right now just commenting from my phone.
The Moreau/Olson fight is at 170lbs for a title not 185. And I will correct Benoits record as well.
As far as I know, they don’t sell beer at the venue. I went to a Reality Fighting show there about 3 and a half years ago, and i don’t believe they sold alcohol?…..
Justin Homsey vs Josh Laberge. wow, that should be a great fight.
They will be selling Beer!
….disgusting card…i may just drive a couple hours for this one with some friends…well done, dan
Cards tight. Should be good. Good Luck Nick Rivera! Going for his 3rd win in a row.
GFL is looking for 2 145lb pro fighters.
Inquire at Dan@gflmma.com
If interested.
Several huge fights but…”145lb Feather Weight Title
Justin Homsey 7-1 (Renzo NH) vs Josh Laberge 7-4 (Lauzon MMA” is unreal.
how long has Laberge been with Lauzon MMA?
