I have just been informed that the first ever fully sanctioned MMA event in Rhode Island will be taking place on Friday night September 17th at Twin Rivers Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island ( www.twinriver.com ). Reading in the Boston Herald that Hawn has signed with Bellator, which I imagine would mean he is out of this card.
Looking at ticket prices, spending the same for 10 rows back as I would at most other promotions 2nd row.
I saw how Saul Almeida was scheduled, but no opponent as of yet. Hey I want to support local MMA, but it’s hard w/a card of TBAs…
We posted 9 of our fights on our page under the media tab.. you can vote on who wins.. we set it up like polls for each fight. next week we’ll post another 9 fights.

LOL… laughing out loud. You got me to look at your site. Good job on your site, I like it. First of all, it’s not my show on the 17th. So, mention of me is not necessary. I am a fan but also a martial artist. Just noticed that a production promoting boxing for years is now adding MMA to their show. Seems like it’s a group that knows what hell they are doing. So, I’ll be there on the 17th
to see what they’re all about. So far, I like what I see.
