Does anyone know or have an idea of what the next step is after a certificate program like this before getting into reffing bigger shows?
sauce…
We’ll be working a coordinated shadowing program to get ref’s and judges experience and exposure. Promoters want experienced ref’s/judges doing their shows and the best way to get a new ref or judge experience is for them to shadow, watch, and analyze. Part of the shadowing is not only for them to watch and learn but also for them to do a fight or two during a card and have their performance evaluated.
If people have any issues with ref’s/judges then take the next step and jump in. I encourage anyone interested to come on down and establish the first step: attending and successfully completing this recognized clinic. I guarantee you will learn something about refereeing or judging MMA events.
Thanks,
Gary
