Matchmaker Dan Bonnell once again put together an exciting card featuring strong local talent in both the amateur and professional divisions. It was a good night of fights….WOW did the EGO look fat!!!! Too many Burrittos consumed during the hype video maybe??? I don’t get how or why the GFL clings to certain fighters…aka poster -boys??? What to do now with the EGO? Maybe feed him another street fighter??? Also, yet another poster boy, Josh Borque??? Kids a good amateur fighter, but he GOT BEAT last night!! Palmer controlled the cage, the striking was even, but Palmer’s leg kicks scored the most. And last, why is Bill Jones fighting an 0-1 fighter in the main event? Otherwise, good match-ups and good fast moving well put together show.
so neither weatherby or fitzgerald fought last night, how come?
jeremy looked real good in transitions. josh bourke had great head movement almost toying with his oppoinent who had some real good skills himself. both guys were in real good shape and best fight of the night. Cory would have a big standup advantage vrs most people.josh has sick hand speed and great combos. i dont think he has a ground game but if he does he will be great. pedro also looked real good but maybe not much of a opponent for him or maybe he is that good. Woody had some issues with his physical so i went there and cut 12 lbs for nothing. I know woody is game so he must have had some real issues. hope all is well. Oh yeah the GFL gave me my show money anyway and i probably wouldent have even asked for it. Just one of the things that happens when fighters turn promoters they seem to treat the fighters real well. Thanks dan and scott
I left like right after the Keegan Hornstrak fight and Juan “Wacko” Maldonado fight. It was a great night of fights, I will say that knee i got hurt thats why i left, Just want to thank all the crew team of the GFL for everything for getting me on their fight cards and for everything means a lot to me.
