Combat Zone 32 Preview

Combat Zone 32 is set for Friday March 5, from their usual location, Rockingham Park in Salem, NH. They have two great 170 pound fights, along with some other solid pro and amateur fights.

The card is headlined by a fight between Tom Moreau and Robert Conner. We all know Moreau. He’s got very good boxing, and is also a very good grappler. His recent wins over Jay Fortier and Don Carlo-Clauss were impressive, and he’s very well rounded and tough to beat. Conner is 7-0 with 5 submissions and 1 TKO. He made his pro debut in April of last year, and has kept a blistering pace with 7 fights in 9 months. This should be a good test for Tom, and a good main event for Combat Zone.

In the Co-Main Event, Brent Kinberger takes on Chandler Holderness. Chandler is 7-2, and has recent wins over UFC veteran Ryan Madigan, as well as Rigo Dominicci. He is a great grappler with solid hands, and has been in some big time wars. Kinberger has looked great in his fights also, and he will be much bigger than Chandler. I’m not sure who wins this fight, but I could see Chandler struggling to close the distance in this one. Hopefully the two winners of these fights get matched up soon!

Here is the rest of the card:

Logan Moore (Team Tuff) vs. George Lynch (Connors)

Peter Wellman (DWMMA) vs. Kris Kloets (Lakes Region VT)

John Santos (Fury) vs. Jesse Menize (Premier Fight Team)

Wayne Ahlquist (Lakes Region VT) vs. Keith Nelson (KAMMA)

Jason Earl (Bombsquad) vs. Taylor Trahan (Kaze)

Lamont Milton (Fury) vs. Adam Toussaint (Havoc)

David Spero (Premier Fight Team) vs. Peter San Antonio (Pro-Star)

Eddie Brito (Valor) vs. Tony Woodman (Havoc)

Keaton Van Thoff (Team Tuff) vs. Mike Winters (Bombsquad)

Jesse McElligott (Connors) vs. Jamie Fellows (Lakes Region VT)

John Levasseur (MFSNH) vs. Steve Butler (Gracie Barra NH)

Adam McQuaid (Burgess) vs. Anthony Kaponis (Dog Pound)

Chandler Holderness (Wai-Kru/Ginsberg) vs. Brent Kinberger (MFSNH)

Tom Moreau (Valor) vs. Robert Conner (Team Coalition)

Kevin – you have a mistake in the first fight result – George Lynch won the fight and The Fight of the Night Trophy –

George did a great job on two days notice.

    Thanks.

George Lynch was the winner of first match.
He also won the amateur fighter of the nite honors, showing nice technique,
    out of Connors MMA.
