I’m not sure how this one slipped through the cracks, but LNF Ultra Cage Fights has their debut event Saturday the 16th of January a the Holiday Inn, in Taunton, MA. The card is a benefit show for Breast Cancer, and they have a strong card also.
Lance Everson makes his return to action to take on Kenny Hazzard, and in an exciting HWT bought, rising star Shawn Galano takes on Jason Dolloff. They also have a grappling match between UFC Stars Dean “The Boogy Man” Lister and John “Doomsday” Howard. This should be an exciting night of fights, and it’s truly a great cause. LNF Ultra Cage Fights is backed by LNF Promotions, a non-profit company comprised of Daniel Ferrie and his two sons, Jared and Alastair. Until recently we had been mostly unaware of the continuing prevalence of breast cancer today. Then in March of 2008, our mother, Linnet N. Ferrie, was diagnosed with the disease. All within a year, Linnet underwent treatment, fought a hard battle, but ultimately and unfortunately lost out to the illness.
From our loss we have established LNF Promotions and with it we hope to create an event that spreads the message of hope and raises higher awareness of the disease in both men and women so that others will join us in the Fight For Life.

Fight of the night for this venue would have to go to the Breast Cancer survivors and the people who worked behind the scene for the great cause. Shawn Galano KO’d me in first round with a big punch. I was told I hit the deck face first and was out cold! That had never happen to me before so big KUDOS to the Shawn”NIGHTMARE”Galano, unsure if thats what they call him but it was fitting for that expierence? As for the rest of the card I could not say, only it was a classy venue and I am proud to be part of such a great cause. Thank You
