The MASS MMA Fighter Rankings for themonth of August have been updated and are shown below.  Please note threesignificant changes in the ranking system:

All fighters who live in New England and or Fight in New England have been considered in our Top 5 rankings.  Fighters who have moved on to fight in the UFC or other national venues will now be considered in our rankings.

All MASSMMA staff members have ordered and submitted our top ten Fighter selections.  Each placement is associated with a specific number of points.  The end result is derived by the combination of the mean average of points and the mode of high placements.

Honorable Mentions (HM) are in no specific order � these Fighters will appear under the Top Five names in alphabetical order.

If you feel a fighter has been unfairlyoverlooked or placed in the incorrect class, please submit the fighter�s nameand recent achievements to editor@massmma.com. You will not receive a response and the August results will not be altered,but the fighter will be considered in next month�s poll.
